How TIHM (Technology Integrated Health Management) for dementia – an award winning NHS Test Bed - has successfully combined the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence with a dedicated monitoring team to help people with dementia live well for longer at home. The seminar will cover how the technology works and the crucial part it plays in supporting early intervention. There will also be video testimonials from people with dementia and their carers.


Biography

Irfan Hassan is Programme Director of the award winning TIHM (Technology Integrated Health Management) for dementia NHS Test Bed led by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust in partnership with the University of Surrey and smart home monitoring provider, Howz. He has led and managed a number of successful IT projects in the NHS, social care and software industries (including augmented reality in health care) over an 18 year period. Irfan has an excellent understanding of health service processes and change management. He has an MBA from the University of Liverpool and a degree in Computer Information Systems Design.
